Damaged Device
In the instance a device is damaged or broken accidentally or otherwise the following process will apply:
1. Bring the laptop to the I.T Department, we will assess the issue.
2. If a repair is required, will let the Student know if this is something covered under warranty or not.
- If under Warranty we will get the device repaired for you.
- If NOT covered under Warranty or a cost applies for the repair we will go through the below Process.
Out Of Warranty Repair or Cost Applies
- After the device damage is assessed a 'MacBook Incident Report & Hire Form' will be sent out to the parent advising of the damage, cost, repair approval via the School and Payment Method through the Operoo Central App directly.
- Once the Parent has approved the repair via the Operoo App and payment is made, the device will get repaired. The repair can take about a week depending on parts.
NOTE: If you DO NOT wish to get the laptop repaired through the School & our Apple authorised Service provider the laptop can be collected from I.T and you can get the device repaired yourself . Please keep in mind if you don't see an approved Apple Repairer this could void future warranty repairs. I.T will give best recommendations.
