Damaged Device

In the instance a device is damaged or broken accidentally or otherwise the following process will apply:

         1. Bring the laptop to the I.T Department, we will assess the issue.

         2. If a repair is required, will let the Student know if this is something covered under warranty or not. 

               - If under Warranty we will get the device repaired for you.    

               - If NOT covered under Warranty or a cost applies for the repair we will go through the below Process.


Out Of Warranty Repair or Cost Applies

  1. After the device damage is assessed a 'MacBook Incident Report & Hire Form' will be sent out to the parent advising of the damage, cost, repair approval via the School and Payment Method through the Operoo Central App directly.
  2. Once the Parent has approved the repair via the Operoo App and payment is made, the device will get repaired. The repair can take about a week depending on parts.

      NOTE: If you DO NOT wish to get the laptop repaired through the School & our Apple authorised Service provider the laptop can be collected from I.T and you can get the device repaired yourself . Please keep in mind if you don't see an approved Apple Repairer this could void future warranty repairs. I.T will give best recommendations.
